April, 2017 | SFAI BOARD OF DIRECTORS has decided to admit new firms to the organization to give to our partners’ clients more possibilities to attend their needs.
SOUTH AMERICA | CHILE: In this country the board has incorporated two firms. One auditing practice –ECHEVERRIA AUDITORES SPA– a practice duly register with the regulatory agency SVS (Superintendencia de Seguros y Valores), managed by Raúl Echeverría Figueroa and a Consulting firm SERVICIOS Y ASESORÍAS HB SPA, managed by Claudio Henríquez van Beber. Both firms were part of Crowe Horwath Chile and decided to leave that organization to become SFAI member firms.
With six partners and more than 100 staff, this perfect combination of expertise are giving to SFAI a perfect coverage in Chile.
Bruce Abell -chairman of the SFAI board- said: Chile is growing at a very good pace and is an important center for commerce through the Pacific Ocean, linking South American economies with that of the Asia Pacific. Therefore, the mentioned two firms will be of a strategic value for SFAI.
CENTRAL AMERICA | COSTA RICA: JENKINS, ERICKSON Y COMPAÑÍA, a very well-known firm in Costa Rica was admitted by the board as a new exclusive firm in that country.
With two offices in the country, the leading partner Ismael Calvo Rojas committed himself to integrate his efforts to empower the SFAI Central America group of firms activity.
EURASIA | GEORGIA: Continuing the expansion of activities in this region, SFAI Board of directors admitted an exclusive firm in Georgia. Bounded to the west to the Black Sea, this country is a main trading partner with Russia. In this sense, ALEXANDRE LLC (CONSULTING GROUP ALEXANDRE) becomes SFAI member firm in Tbilisi, the Georgia Capital. The firm was founded in 1995 by Alexander Somkhishvili, being the first audit firm in that country. Alexandre LLC is leaded by Viacheslav Beradze.
SFAI CEO Dr Spilzinger, said that the organisation is continuing looking for first class firms in Europe to cover those countries where our partners’ clients perform businesses.
